Values and Standards
Greenfields has one of the most culturally diverse student bodies
of any school in the south of England, with Buddhists, Jews, Muslims,
Roman Catholics, Anglicans, Scientologists, Evangelists and Hindus
in our numbers. We are completely non-denominational and welcome
children of all faiths.
Consequently, it is not a requirement that staff be of any particular
religion or culture when they join staff at the school.
We feel it is important that children are aware of the spiritual
nature of man and practice religious tolerance. Being an international
school, one of our great joys is seeing children from many countries
and various religious and ethnic backgrounds forming lasting friendships.
Greenfields teaches a non-religious moral code as a foundation
for successful living - The Way To Happiness developed by L. Ron
Hubbard, noted educator, humanitarian and philosopher. This moral
code does not conflict with any of the major religions. A copy of
The Way to Happiness booklet is freely available upon request.
