Lower School Sports Day

This year the teams competed in their houses for the first time and this was a great success. As for the last few years, the main part of the event was the team relays which the children had practised with much enthusiasm over the preceding weeks. As each team has members ranging in age from 5 to 11, there is much teamwork involved and the older children help and encourage the younger ones.

The weather was perfect and the parents were, as usual, enthusiastic supporters. Refreshments were served at half time and there was a relaxed and happy atmosphere throughout the afternoon.
