Schools' Association
Greenfields is proud to be part of the Independent Schools' Association.
The Independent Schools' Association (ISA) was founded in 1879 and
is one of the oldest of the independent schools associations.
Its membership includes Heads of some 301 preparatory, senior
and all-through schools. It exists to provide professional support
to Head Teachers and offers a wide range of sport and cultural activities
to the pupils in the 301 schools it represents.
There is an annual Art competition, a Drama Festival and Essay
competition for all age groups and national ISA fixtures arranged
for Athletics, Cross-country, gymnastics and other sports. We regularly
participate in the athletics and cross-country regional, and sometimes
the national, events.
The Independent Schools Council (ISC), an umbrella organisation
that includes a further four organisations for Heads of independent
schools, represents the independent schools sector to the government
and to the media and through this organisation our "voice"
is heard on important issues.
