Another Stellar Graduation 2009

Greenfields Graduation Ceremony is one of the high points of the school year because it’s here that we get a chance to show to the public in grand style the accomplishments and achievements of those students who have completed their Greenfields education and who are moving on into the broad world beyond.

The speeches include one from an “Old Greenfieldian” addressing what it is really like to go from Greenfields into the society, as well as a review of the school’s impact on the community from the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and a word from the Head Teacher about what has happened during the year from his perspective.

Special awards for Sports, Drama, Creative Arts and Science and Technology are given to specific students for outstanding accomplishments in those fields.

Graduates Celebrate in Style - 007

By now you’ve probably heard of Greenfields’ incredible Graduation Balls – enchanting chocolate fountains, suave dressing up, stylish dancing and vibrant fireworks?

This year the Graduation Ball took it all to the next level!

So, pay attention 007... Graduation Ball 2009 was THE JAMES BOND CASINO BALL!

The guests of the ball arrived in the grand marquee to the pulse-pounding sound of the James Bond theme; the lights sparkled within and the cards were dealt.

The night included:

• fireworks even more explosive than 007’s weapons
• great food
• chocolate fountain AND a drink fountain (shaken, not stirred)
• casino tables (Roulette and Blackjack, of course)
• a truly brilliant light show and DJ
• VIP Lounge, licensed to thrill
• a stunning reception

Graduates and their friends were treated to their special night, for their eyes only, with laughter and fun to mark the end of another unique year at Greenfields. It was an evening to remember... one might be tempted to call it a “Thunderball”, in fact.
