Greenfields Independent Day & Boarding School is an Independent Schools Association school with a Montessori-based Nursery and a Reception class (forming the Early Years Foundation Stage), an Infant and Junior School, and a Senior School including Sixth Form and long and short-term English as a Foreign Language courses.
This video is about the Junior, Infant, Nursery and Pre-school classes.
Students aged 2 to 18 receive an all-round education for life, using the Cambridge Curriculum from Infants upwards.
In July 2016 Greenfields School was awarded an Outstanding Achievement Award by ABLE (Association for Better Living and Education*). The award acknowledged the inroads that Greenfields School has made both within the school itself and its achievements locally and internationally.
The inscription read: “Outstanding Achievement Award, Greenfields School. For their extraordinary service to their students and families, the community at large, and creating goodwill and recognition for the school, for Applied Scholastics and for L. Ron Hubbard’s Study Technology.” This is followed by a quote from L. Ron Hubbard which read: “Our intent is not just to salvage a few students. Our intent to reverse this whole decay of 20th century education.”
*ABLE addresses social problems through educational and rehabilitation programs. It is the parent organization of Applied Scholastics which is a non-profit corporation founded in 1972 to promote the use of the Study Technology created by L. Ron Hubbard. Greenfields is licensed by Applied Scholastics to use these techniques to help children in their education in school and beyond. Study Technology produces remarkable improvements in a student’s ability which is reflected in the results he or she obtains.
